Minister Paradis attends launch of Together: An exhibition on global development

April 27, 2015 – The Honourable Christian Paradis, Minister of International Development and La Francophonie, and Khalil Shariff, Chief Executive Officer of AKFC, participated in the official launch of Together: An Exhibition on Global Development at the Delegation of the Ismaili Imamat in Ottawa.

The bilingual, interactive and multi-sensory exhibition, housed in a custom-built truck containing 1,000 square feet of exhibit space, showcases the meaningful work Canada and its development partners are doing to improve the lives of people in developing countries.

The exhibition is supported by Foreign Affairs, Trade and Development Canada through AKFC’s Partnership for Advancing Human Development in Africa and Asia project.

This year, the exhibition will travel across Ontario, Quebec and Atlantic Canada. In 2016, it will make stops in northern Ontario and western Canada.
